Regardless of the configuration of the 2022 Kia Forte, its stylish exterior is sure to turn heads as you cruise down the highway. If you opt for the entry-level trim, you can choose from a selection of sleek, neutral body colors for the sedan, including Gravity Gray, Aurora Black, and Clear White. The LXS model (and higher) trims expand your selection to include vibrant hues, such as Currant Red, Deep Sea Blue, and Fire Orange. You can identify the latest version of the compact car by the updated Kia logo emblazoned on the outside and inside of the vehicle.

The lighting components of the Forte vary across trim levels. Daytime running lights are standard, but only the GT-Line, GT, and GT Manual have lights with LED capabilities. Choose one of the three highest trim levels if you also want LED front fog lights and taillights, which can strengthen your visibility on the road when you’re traveling during foggy mornings or inclement weather. Unique to the GT and GT Manual configurations are LED headlights with high beam assist. This feature reduces the brightness of the light when another vehicle approaches you from the opposite direction.

The FE model has 15-inch tires, while the LXS model has 16-inch and the GT-line has 17-inch. For the tallest tires, check out the GT and GT Manual trims, which sport 18-inch GT alloy wheels with two tones. The exterior mirrors on the two lowest trims match the color of the sedan, while those on the GT-line and higher trims are a black gloss color with a heated component, capable of remaining clear when snow or ice accumulates. Also consistent on the GT-line, GT, and GT Manual configurations are sport grilles, sport side sills, and gloss black sport bumper accents.

Loading and unloading cargo from your Kia Forte is also seamless with the Smart Trunk feature, standard on the latter three trim levels. The trunk will open automatically when you hold the key fob in the vehicle’s proximity, and you don’t need to use your hands. Another exterior feature to consider adding to the sedan is a power sunroof, which is compatible with all three of the GT models.

Interior Features

The aesthetic appeal of the 2022 Kia Forte isn’t limited to its exterior. Climb inside the compact sedan to explore the comfortable interior, where technological advancements deliver a safe and seamless riding experience for you and your passengers. An eight-inch touchscreen display is standard across all trim levels, but you can upgrade to gain access to a 10.3-inch touchscreen. Whether you own an Apple or Android device, your smartphone connects wirelessly, and you can use the in-dash navigation for directions when you’re driving to a destination for the first time.

The larger touchscreen showcases the internal functions of the Forte in color. You can state where you want to go using your voice and stay informed about traffic in your local area using the SiriusXM Traffic & HD Radio. Feel free to pump up the volume on your favorite songs or podcasts with the four-speaker audio system, a standard feature on the FE and LXS models. The audio system on the higher trim levels includes six speakers, and you can upgrade to a premium, eight-speaker arrangement that boasts 800 watts and comes with an integrated subwoofer.

When you’re behind the wheel, you can control the volume of the audio and activate cruise control. You can also restore the battery power of your mobile devices by using the USB charging port in the front of the vehicle, a feature that’s customary on the GT-Line, GT, and GT Manual configurations. The two highest trim levels also contain a wireless phone charger inside the sedan.

The material on the seats is smooth for your comfort, made up of woven cloth if you’re driving the FE and LXS model, and SynTex and cloth if you’re operating the GT-Line and GT model. Sport seats that have unique GT stitching with SynTex are standard on the GT manual version. Other consistent interior features across trim levels include an overhead sunglasses holder, dual map lights, and interior lighting with a delay function.
