RG Burgers and Grill is a quaint little place with a shabby chic decor and burgers that’ll fill you to the brim. From atmosphere to food to service, RG Burgers comes highly rated by guest reviews. And if the burger isn’t enough, the all-you-can-eat steak fries will certainly help. The restaurant also serves hot dogs, salads, fish, and chicken. It truly offers something for everyone.

Customers recommend the Spicy RG’s All Star Burger, complete with chipotle mayo, jalapeno peppers, onion, bacon, and pepper jack cheese. Each burger comes on a sourdough bun, the sweetness of which is the perfect balance to this tasty treat. While the prices here are very reasonable, RG Burgers and Grill offers monthly specials for your next night out, including two for $19 Tuesdays, a burger steak dinner for a little over $12, and the daily lunch special for $9.

RG Burgers closes between 2 and 5:00 p.m., so time your visit accordingly. You should have no issue getting in on Friday through Sunday, however, as the restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. RG Burgers and Grill is slightly hidden behind other businesses, but it’s a gem worth seeking out. It’s located at 2430 South Interstate 35 East, Suite 172, in Denton, Texas, only a few miles from Corinth.

Denton Independent Hamburger Company

A local venue with a 40-year history, the Denton Independent Hamburger Company has set records for having the “Best Hamburger and Fries in Denton.” Open late seven nights a week, this hometown favorite is known for serving fresh ground beef patties, legendary pinto beans, and hand-cut, skin-on, French fried potatoes. While the menu is simple, the handmade recipes will have you coming back time and again.

Perhaps you’d like the Spirit of a Hero burger, loaded with housemade maple thyme sausage, bacon, American cheese, a fried egg, serrano peppers, crispy onions, and mayo. This is truly a masterpiece of a burger, and the restaurant donates $2 of every Spirit of a Hero burger purchase to the Spirit of a Hero Organization, which provides financial, moral, and community support to veterans of the United States armed forces.
