Kia Niro in Denton TXKia’s Niro plug-in hybrid electric vehicle is set to turn many heads during its upcoming launch in the United States. It’s been hailed for its technological innovations, and it also has the unique potential to be completely electric. It is sure to impress both technophiles and those looking for an environmentally friendly vehicle. Here are five of the most impressive features on this new Kia model.

Eco-Friendly

The Kia Niro Plug-in Hybrid is charged with a 12-volt auxiliary lithium-ion battery. It is compact enough to save trunk space, which in turn makes the car a lighter ride. The new battery also allows it to be fully charged in just under three hours, making the vehicle totally electric and completely eco-friendly. On a full battery, the hybrid can provide up to 34 miles of smooth driving without needing an additional charge.

Sleek Interior Design

The Kia Niro is tailored 100 percent for the driver. Available with leather and cloth seat trim options, the driver can enjoy an array of pleasures right at their fingertips. Along with ventilation and heating for the front and back, the driver can create his or her own comfort with the 10-way power driver’s seat. To list just a few of the interior features, you’ll find audio remote controlling and a heating option for the steering wheel, a low washer fluid warning, smart cruise control, glass vanity mirror for both driver and passenger, speed limiter, and an overhead console lamp with map lamp LED.

Distinctive Exterior

While still maintaining a tiger-nose grille (a classic staple of Kia design), the exterior design of the Niro is distinctive and unique. The chrome-coated door handles and chrome belt-line moldings are complemented by 16-inch alloy wheels. Tinted privacy glass covers the rear windows and tailgate. The hybrid is fully decked out with LED lights and auto light control, which provides even more convenience for the driver.

Hi-Tech

The vehicle’s technological assets really shine through. There are many predictive control technologies at work within the mechanism, including adaptive driving modes (the car senses when you are going up or downhill), rain sensor wipers, and automatic headlight control. The built-in GPS navigation system advises drivers on the best action to take in order to limit energy consumption. This eco model has the perfect blend of low fuel consumption and high comfort levels.

New Yet Familiar

Despite high-tech features being at the heart of the hybrid, the car itself maintains many of the same great riches that one can expect from a Kia model. It utilizes a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine as in the base Niro model. It also preserves its fantastic crossover functionality, not to mention the same 6-speed dual clutch transmission that was so highly praised from the original Niro model.
The Niro is set to launch in the U.S later this year. It’s believed that this beautiful new hybrid from Kia will certainly strike the right chords with Kia lovers as well as those who are eco-inclined.
