2019 Kia Sorento at Huffines Kia CorinthThe 2019 Kia Sorento is already looking pretty good with the standard trim level but some of the add-ons for the higher trim levels are definitely worth extra consideration.

  1. Larger Engine

The standard engine in the 2019 Sorento is a 2.4-liter DOHC 16-valve I-4 with 185 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque along with a six-speed automatic transmission. The towing capacity is 2,000 pounds. This isn’t bad; it’s actually quite good for your everyday lifestyle. But the upgrade is better. A 3.3-liter DOHC 24-valve V-6 engine with an eight-speed automatic that puts out 290 hp and 252 pound-feet of torque. The towing capacity is 3,500 pounds, and there is an option for all-wheel drive while it comes standard with front-wheel drive.
The L and LX trims have the standard engine while the LX V-6, EX V-6, SX, and SX Limited have the upgrade option.

  1. More Colorways

If you’re sticking with the standard trim, you have three color options and one interior color to work with on the Kia Sorento. However, if you choose any of the other trims, you can choose from the new colors: Passion Red, Blaze Blue, Snow White Pearl, Dragon Brown, Sangria, and Platinum Graphite. You can also choose from additional interior colors like stone beige and materials like Nappa leather in terracotta or black metallic.

  1. Mirrors, Lights, and Windows

While the base trim level does come with solar control privacy glass and auto light control, the upgrades have so much more to choose from. Add a panoramic sunroof, power-folding outside mirrors, reverse tilt-down outside mirrors, LED headlights, High Beam Assist, projector beam front fog lights, and auto-sensing windshield wipers. The optional wiper technology is only available on the SX and SX Limited. These trims also offer sound-absorbing front window and windshield glass for a smooth, quiet ride.

  1. Exterior Add-ons

The rear spoiler and locking fuel-filler door come standard on the Sorento but more extras will make you want to upgrade. A Smart Power liftgate is an option on this model, as well as roof rails in silver or chrome finish. The standard 17-inch alloy wheels can be upgraded to 18-inch or 19-inch wheels. Additional accents and moulding can make this car as one-of-a-kind as you are.

  1. Upgraded Technology

The Sorento has a standard package that includes a rear camera, Bluetooth, remote keyless entry, and power doors and windows. The upgrade options will have you sitting in luxury. Add a wireless phone charger, third-row air conditioning with controls, smart key with push-button start, smart cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot collision warning, park distance warning, and so much more. You won’t ever want to get out of your Sorento.
With all of these lovely add-ons for the 2019 Kia Sorento, it may be difficult to decide which ones not to get. Stop into Huffines Kia Denton and take one out for a test drive. You’re sure to enjoy all of the upgrades.
