These are three places in Denton, Texas, where you can get a really good burger.

LSA Burger Co.

LSA Burger Co. boasts a couple of mottos that’ll prepare you for the meal you’ll have here: “It’s a Way of Life” and “Eat, Drink, Experience.” Indeed, the food here is an experience that can only be appreciated firsthand. The restaurant offers an amazing mix of food, an inviting Texas atmosphere, music, and more that can’t be replicated.
In terms of burgers, there are many unique options to look forward to, like the Our Buddy, which is made on Texas toast and features griddled onions. Or, you can go for the Attitude. This one has smoked brisket and Dr Pepper barbecue sauce.

The atmosphere is cozy and uniquely Texan with diner-style booths and Lone Star designs along the walls. The shop is locally owned and operated, making it a Denton favorite. Of course, there’s also exceptional food.
The menu includes traditional beef burgers, such as a bacon cheeseburger and patty melt. There are also more adventurous choices, like the Fireside Burger (made with grilled jalapeno, ghost pepper cheese, and a jalapeno cheddar bun) and the Black and Blue Burger (served on a brioche bun topped with bleu cheese and ranch dressing).
Brisket Burger is at 4005 N. Interstate 35. It’s open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. It’s open Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Rooster’s Roadhouse

Rooster’s Roadhouse is a happening and lively option in Denton that’s best known for its colorful booths and roadside décor. But that’s just the ambiance — people flock to the restaurant for its homemade chips and exceptional burgers, among other menu options.
Burgers are available as appetizers or entrees. The former category includes the Hell Burger, which is a single slider topped with Hell Sauce. This one is so hot that you have to be at least 18 years old and sign a waiver to try it. For a full meal, there are basics like a cheese double burger and a brisket burger. Or, you can go with a unique recipe like the bacon ranch burger or the smoked garlic jalapeno bacon cheddar burger.
