The Denton Community Market is a producer-only farmers’ market and local art market in downtown Denton. It runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and features live music, activities for the kids, local artists, food trucks, and many different local farms and food vendors. There are lots of fresh fruits and vegetables for sale, along with many homemade items. Stop by for honey, candies, sauces and tons of plants and flowers if you want to bring some home to grow yourself. This is a pet-friendly market, so bring your four-legged friends too.

Denton Farmers’ Market
Get your fresh produce at the Denton Farmers’ Market on West Sycamore. This market opens on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 7 a.m. until the vendors sell out. You can find all of your fruits and veggies here from tomatoes to squash, berries, cantaloupe, cucumbers, and okra.
Highland Village Farmers’ Market
The Highland Village Farmers’ Market is part of the Four Seasons Markets. This company offers European-style farmers market with fresh produce and locally sourced products. You’ll find the Highland Village location at the old Kroger store on Justin Road. You can shop on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for products from local farms and ranches including fresh eggs, olives, nuts, granola, breads and sweet breads, pastries, and honey.
Dallas Farmers’ Market
Take the trip into Dallas for the farmers’ market at The Shed. This is an open-air pavilion where you can find locally grown and seasonal fresh vegetables and fruits. This market has naturally raised meats, breads, canned foods, and arts and crafts vendors too. Stop by for breakfast or lunch at one of the ready-to-eat food vendors, and then shop for your weekly product and more. You’ll find it at The Trailhead in the Clearfork development, and it is where you can go for craft coffee, gourmet popcorn, honey, homemade fudge and toffee, fresh beignets, and beef jerky along with fresh fruits and vegetables.
