Catch Fireworks Here in Dallas

A highlight of summer for many people across the U.S. is watching the sky light up with a dazzling array of shimmering colors in celebration of the Fourth of July. There are many opportunities to catch fabulous fireworks shows in and around Dallas, Texas. Our team at Huffines Kia Corinth has put together a list of the biggest and brightest for you so you can light up the nights of your holiday week. 

City of Colleyville Stars and Guitars

Get a head start on celebrating Independence Day at the City of Colleyville Stars and Guitars event. The annual pre-Fourth of July patriotic celebration includes a free concert and fireworks show. This year’s event will treat your ears to the spectacular strumming and singing of American country music star Darryl Worley. The evening will conclude after the performance with a stunning show of lights in the sky. Several gourmet food trucks will be on-site to offer various dining options. In addition to accessible lawn seating, there’s the option to purchase seating at tables in a reserved area.

Location: 100 Main St., Colleyville.

Ennis Freedom Fest

Another pre-Fourth of July patriotic celebration, the Ennis Freedom Fest, kicks off the fun with a light display like no other in the state, featuring choreographed fireworks with thematic elements. Throughout the weekend, several additional events will delight you and your family, including a bike parade and activities in Veteran’s Memorial Park, like a rock-climbing wall, slides, paddle boats, and festival foods.

Klyde Warren Park’s Independence Day Celebration

The fireworks at the Klyde Warren Park’s Independence Day Celebration are extra special. They’re accompanied by synced music from a playlist curated by Dallas native and local favorite DJ Lucy Wrubel. In addition to the amazing light and music display, you’ll also be treated to tasty bites from food trucks and family-friendly games and activities at the free event, which is the official Independence Day celebration for the city of Dallas.

Location: 2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway, Dallas.

Farmers Branch Independence Day Celebration

Low-level fireworks and high-energy fun are what you’ll experience at the Farmers Branch Independence Day Celebration. This highly anticipated event features a funky dance band, strolling characters, a kids’ zone, and excellent food and beverages. If you don’t like the loud booms of traditional fireworks, the low-level display at the Farmers Branch Historical Park celebration is the perfect option for you and your family. Passes are required for entry. Admittance is free for residents and $5.00 per person for nonresidents.

Location: 2450 Framers Branch Lane, Farmers Branch.

Addison Kaboom Town!

Named one of the country’s best Independence Day fireworks displays by USA Today, Addison Kaboom Town! doesn’t disappoint with its dazzling 25-minute show. The fireworks are visible across the city; you can even view them at one of several watch parties hosted by restaurants and hotels throughout town. Adding to the excitement, the event features an air show with flyovers and plane stunts, a stage with popular party bands, food trucks, games, and more.

Date: July 3, 2023.
Time: 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Location: 15650 Addison Road, Addison.

Light Up Arlington

Watch the sparkling lights rain down over Arlington at the popular Light Up Arlington celebration. The brilliant fireworks display is set to music and broadcast on 95.9 FM The Ranch to heighten your viewing pleasure. Free festivities at the event include live performances by top musical artists on four separate stages around town, a bubble bus, face painting, and games for kids. You’ll be able to sample several different types of cuisines and delicious desserts from more than 20 food trucks as you ooh and aah at the show.

Location: 500 Front St., Arlington.

Fair Park Fourth

Experience fireworks inside the famous Cotton Bowl Stadium at the Fair Park Fourth celebration. You can also view the spectacular show across Fair Park while exploring the many activities available at the event. You’ll find live music from the United States Air Force Band, hands-on activities for kids, entertainment, local market vendors, food trucks, and more at the free event.

Time: 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Location: 3809 Grand Ave., Dallas.

Fort Worth’s Fourth

View shimmering fireworks and their excellent reflection on a river at Fort Worth’s Fourth free celebratory event. You can lie on a blanket or relax in a chair along the banks of the Trinity River at Panther Island Pavilion while you gaze up at the wonderment of the glistening colors streaming down. There are live music performances, activities for kids, food vendors, and everything you could want for a perfect patriotic day.

Location: 395 Purcey St., Fort Worth.

All American 4th

The City of Plano’s free, family-friendly All American 4th has fireworks, music, and more. You’ll love the parade, the free kids zone with games and activities, the vendor market, and the food and beverage options. To accompany the fireworks, listen to music simulcast on KLAK 97.5 FM. The event, held at Collin College, will bring everyone smiles.
