The Meatball Bao Bun features Korean meatballs, herbs, and crunchy lotus roots while the Pork Bao Bun is filled with slow-cooked pork, crispy sauteed mushrooms, cilantro, and chashu. The menu also includes a cheesy feta and mozzarella-stuffed naan bread, Asian chicken wings, and kung pao tofu.

If you like it hot, you’ll be especially pleased with the wing sauce selection and the extra spicy kung pao sauce available on the Kung Pao Tofu. The Blind Fox delivers its small selection of dishes expertly, so you can rely on getting a satisfying bite here.

The Pickled Carrot

The Pickled Carrot draws on the Vietnamese upbringing of owner Cuong Mai and the creativity of his partner Whitney Dewell. This food truck’s signature dish is the Banh Mi, featuring pickled carrots and daikon, jalapenos, cucumbers, cilantro, and your choice of pork, chicken, mushrooms, or tofu on a toasted Vietnamese baguette. The finished creation is slathered in the Pickled Carrot’s own roasted garlic Sriracha mayo for an added kick.

The menu also features a flavorful salad that will redefine the way you think of this dish. You’ll find purple cabbage, chopped Romaine, bean sprouts, mint, cucumbers, cilantro, chopped peanuts, and pickled carrots and daikon in your bowl along with your choice of chicken, pork, tofu, or mushrooms. The noodle bowl adds warm vermicelli rice noodles to this combination along with Sriracha sauce and chili-garlic fish sauce. Tacos and loaded fries are available as well with similar toppings.

The bread comes from a local Vietnamese bakery, but all other ingredients are made from scratch and locally sourced whenever possible. The Pickled Carrot also gives back by donating all tips to the Denton Community Food Center.

Feta’s Lone Greek

For mouthwatering Greek food, you can’t go wrong at the Feta’s Lone Greek food truck. This truck serves up perfect classic gyros with just the right amount of homemade tzatziki in the warm, seasoned pita bread. The gyros from Feta’s are layered with tomatoes, onions, lettuce, olives, cucumbers, pepperoncini, feta cheese, lamb, and beef drizzled in a Grecian balsamic. For more Greek flavor, you can also try the generous Greek salad or Feta’s Tacos.

Feta’s Lone Greek also offers an assortment of other flavors if you’re not in the mood for Greek. You can get an assortment of pitas. Try the BBQ pulled pork and slaw for a hearty kick of flavor. The Chicki Pita features grilled chicken, bacon, cheddar, and ranch while the Chicken Fajita Pita pairs chicken with grilled peppers, onions, and cheddar. A recent addition to the menu is the Athenian Kalamari featuring fried calamari with feta cheese and peppers. Other snacks and sides include Spanaki Bites, Feta Fries, Seasoned Fries, and Texas Slaw.

If you like dipping, you’ll find it easy to dress up your dishes to suit your tastes. Add a cup of ranch, tzatziki, lemon-garlic aioli, Grecian balsamic, BBQ, or sour cream to any order. Feta’s is great any time, but it’s especially well-suited to late-night bites. Over the summer, the food truck is open till 1 a.m. Wednesday through Friday and midnight on Saturday and Sunday.

This food truck delivers all your favorite meaty flavors in the form of mouthwatering sandwiches, cheesy quesadillas, and loaded tacos.
