Sometimes you’ve just got to order a scoop of ice cream on a hot summer day. Here are a few places you can go in Corinth, Texas, to find some of the best ice cream, frozen yogurt, and other frozen treats.
Beth Marie’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream
If you’re looking for premium homemade ice cream, swing by Beth Marie’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream shop. You can choose from more than 130 flavors of ice cream, including Banana Cream Pie, Beth’s Raspberry Truffle, Peanut Butter Cup, Coconut, Pineapple Sherbert, and Old South Fudge.
You can order a cup, cone, or sampler boat and pay by the ounce, or you can order a pint or quart to share with friends and family. You should also try a malt or shake, sundae, or banana split. Other menu items include ice cream sandwiches, ice cream cakes, cobbler and ice cream, fountain drinks, and other beverages.
Beth Marie’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream has a few locations in Texas. If you’re in downtown Denton, stop by the Denton Square location, or if you’re closer to Corinth, check out the Unicorn Lake location. These locations are open every day, and you can even order Beth Marie’s for curbside pickup!
Tiff’s Treats
If you love fresh-baked cookies, you’ll love Tiff’s Treats. This cookie delivery business is known for selling warm cookies, brownies, and bars individually and by the box.
In terms of ice cream, stop by a local store to enjoy a Tiffwich, their version of the ice cream sandwich. You can also order a scoop of vanilla ice cream to pair with your fresh-baked treat or a pint of vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream, or mint chocolate chip ice cream. Consider trying the TiffBlitz, a frozen dessert made of ice cream combined with chocolate chip cookies and brownie chunks then topped with crumbled sugar cookies.

Tiff’s Treats has several locations in Texas and a few in other states. Near Corinth, you can stop by Tiff’s Treats in Lewisville, Highland Village, or Denton. These stores are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. If you want to purchase more than a couple of cookies or a Tiffwich, consider ordering ahead.
Las Piñas Fruteria
For a fresh fruit take on ice cream, check out Las Piñas Fruteria. You can order a banana split, a Gansito sundae, churros and ice cream, or various fruits with one, two, or three scoops of ice cream. This shop also offers respados, which is a shaved ice treat. There are several other fresh fruit menu items, including juices, in addition to typical Mexican dishes, such as tortas, tacos, duro preparado, and elote en vaso.
Las Piñas Fruteria is located at 1297 Justin Rd., #316, in Lewisville, Texas. The shop is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Denton Yogurt Story
For something other than ice cream, order frozen yogurt at Denton Yogurt Story. Some flavors might include Orange Sorbet, Chocolate Obsession, Tahitian Vanilla, Cookies n’ Cream, Salted Caramel, New York Cheesecake, and Pink Lemonade Sorbet. This frozen yogurt shop also offers coffee, tea, and other hot drinks as well as bubble tea and bubble-ade in various flavors, such as watermelon, mango, and Tiger’s Blood. Be sure to keep an eye out for limited time frozen yogurt creations and other specials.
Denton Yogurt Story is located at 1800 South Loop 288, #393, in Denton, Texas, and is open Sunday through Friday from noon to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 11 p.m.
Froyo Joe’s
Another local frozen yogurt shop you should check out is Froyo Joe’s. This family-owned shop opened in May 2018 and serves more than just frozen yogurt. You can enjoy various flavors of gelato, Italian ice, sorbet, and frozen custard, as well as soft shaved ice with 20 flavors of syrup. Frozen yogurt offerings may include flavors such as espresso, white chocolate mousse, cheesecake, birthday cake, sea salt caramel, and mint chocolate chip. This yogurt shop also sells fresh fruit bouquets and chocolate dipped berries. Plus if you require nondairy or sugar-free options, this shop is the place to go!
Froyo Joe’s is located at 2540 Justin Rd., Suite 195, in Highland Village, Texas. The shop is open Sunday through Thursday from noon to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from noon to 10 p.m.
Pooky’s Famous Yogurt
For more frozen yogurt and delicious frozen treats, stop by Pooky’s Famous Yogurt. At this yogurt shop, you can get frozen yogurt in three sizes, 8 oz., 16 oz., or 20 oz. Another frozen treat option is the Monkey Shake, which you can create with your favorite frozen yogurt flavors, mix-ins, and toppings. For something a little different, try the Volcano S’mores in half or full size. You can also order various drinks, such as coffee, tea, and even a green tea lemonade or smoothie.
Pooky’s Famous Yogurt is located at 12000 US-380, #102, in Cross Roads, Texas. The shop is open daily from 1-9 p.m and also offers a kids’ play area.
Frosty Drive N
Stop by Frosty Drive N to support a family-owned restaurant. On a hot day, you can choose from several frozen treats, such as an ice cream cone or dish, a banana split, a float, a sundae, or a malt or shake. Flavors include chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, cherry, butterscotch, pineapple, coffee, peppermint, and Dreamsicle. If you’re hungry, the menu also features broiler burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, fried chicken, classic sides, and house-made root beer.
Frosty Drive N is located at 1002 Fort Worth Dr. in Denton, Texas. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
