This gallery features the work of Christie Wood, and she offers a variety of pieces for sale which you can see in her studio or on her website. Churches, corporations, and private collectors commission most of her work, but she has some smaller items for sale including a few mermaids, angels, and a small light-colored owl. Christie sells all her items on first come first serve basis and she is available for any questions you might have about her work.

The Denton Gallery

The Denton Gallery features the work of local artists. Some of the current exhibits include Trace Elements and Regarding Color, with works from Cynthia Giron, and Crossroads with pieces created by Elodie Richards. A Creative Art Studio on West Oak Street in Denton is both a working studio and a gallery that offers art and gifts for sale. The works in the gallery feature pieces from local artists and range from jewelry to mosaics and more. This studio and gallery focuses on artists that work with stained glass, ceramics, and other media, so you are sure to find something to fit your space. The Patterson-Appleton Arts Center

Situated between downtown Denton and the innovation district, the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center has two large galleries along with an art studio and a sculpture garden. Every year, the Denton arts council hosts over 20 exhibits at the center with work created by artists from all over the world. Some of the current exhibits include Color Coded: Recent Works by Vagner Mendonca Whitehead. Starting the beginning of the year, you can also see the pieces created for the 31st annual Materials: Hard + Soft International Contemporary Craft Competition & Exhibit. This is one of the premier craft competitions in the country and features work from international and local artists.
