The Pooch Patio 
Grab a cold beverage and enjoy some time outdoors at The Pooch Patio, located on Fairmount Street in Dallas. It’s open on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This spot is a full-service grooming and boarding facility, making it a great location if your pup needs a trim or a place to stay.
But you don’t have to simply drop off Fido and leave for the weekend. Get your pup more comfortable in the atmosphere and help him or her get socialized with other canines on the patio, which has a beer and wine bar. Make sure to stop by the Bark Boutique to pick up some specialty gifts for your favorite pup.
 
Downtown Pawz
If your dog needs some new food options or treats, pay a visit to Downtown Pawz. You can shop the wide selection of natural products for dogs and cats. The business owners believe in treating every pet like family. It’s in downtown Dallas on Main Street. You can also take advantage of available grooming services, including summer cuts, nail clipping, ear cleaning, brushing, shampoo and conditioning treatment, and cologne application. If you want your pup to look extra chic, add a nail painting service for her paws.
 
Wagging Tail Dog Park
Help your canine get some much-needed exercise at Wagging Tail Dog Park, located on Keller Springs Road in Dallas. It’s nearly 7 acres in size and includes all the amenities to help your dog feel more comfortable, including fenced areas for off-leash play, designated, separate areas for large and small dogs, a pet waste station with plastic bags, dog and human drinking fountains, and shady areas for sunny days. If your pup enjoys hikes on the trails, hook him or her up to a leash and head around the 6-foot loop that surrounds the park.
 
Lee Harvey’s 
Lee Harvey’s is a neighborhood bar and restaurant that welcomes well-behaved dogs on leashes. It has a large outdoor area with plenty of seating for a big crowd. On Sundays, take advantage of happy-hour prices as part of their Dog Days weekly celebration. Sample tasty favorites like the jalapeño chicken sandwich, an Angus beef ribeye steak, fish tacos, or juicy burgers.
 
The Westin Dallas Downtown
If you need a place to stay in Dallas, check out The Westin Dallas Downtown. Both cats and dogs are allowed in the rooms as long as you make arrangements when you reserve your room.
