All of the trims except for the LX feature heated and ventilated front seats. The EX and SX Turbo also have a heated steering wheel for your comfort when adventures take you into colder climates. The seats are cloth. However, you have the option of changing them to leather in all of the trims except for the LX.
Technology for Your Adventure
The 2020 Kia Sportage includes all of the technology needed to keep everyone happy and connected on the road. For the driver, there is a Bluetooth connection for hands-free phone calls and text messages. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto both work in the SUV.
The voice recognition system lets you change music without taking your eyes off the road. You can also change the radio or adjust the volume with the steering-wheel-mounted controls. Keep your devices charged with either the 12-volt outlet or USB charger in the LX. The S, EX, and Sport Turbo include a USB for those in back to use. Except for the LX, the vehicle includes a wireless Qi-compatible phone charger.
Space for Everything
Don’t forget anything you’ll need for your adventure. Your new SUV features 30.7 cubic feet of space with the back seat up. If you flatten the bench seat completely, the space increases to 60.1 cubic feet. Beyond all the visible space, all of the trims include an additional storage compartment located under the rear floor for smaller items or items you don’t want seen when you stop for a stretch break. There is also storage space for small items or refreshments in the center console, as well as the seatback pockets.
Safety
Set out on your next adventure with peace of mind. Your new Sportage includes the Kia Drive Wise technology suite featuring lane-keeping assist and driver attention warning. The lane-keeping assist helps you stay in your lane if you begin to drive. If you drift multiple times in a short period of time, the driver attention warning goes off. It alerts you if the vehicle senses you are getting tired, and, if this warning goes off, it’s a good time to stop and eat or switch drivers.
