Where to Watch 4th of July Fireworks in the Dallas Area

fireworkNot sure where to watch fireworks this 4th of July? Don’t worry. We’ve got you covered. Here are five of the best places to catch a great Independence Day fireworks show in the Dallas area.

Fair Park – Fair Park Fourth

Celebrate Independence Day at Fair Park with live music, rides, games, and a fabulous fireworks display. During the day, many of the park’s main attractions open. A couple of attractions include the Children’s Aquarium, the Hall of State, and the Texas Discovery Gardens. The Gardens will feature its annual “Red, White, and Butterflies” festivities in honor of our nation’s birthday. You can view the fireworks show from the Fair Park grounds, the State Fair of Texas Midway, or the Cotton Bowl.

Admission to Fair Park Fourth is $5.

Addison Circle Park – Kaboom Town!

If you’re looking for one of the best fireworks parties in the country, Addison Circle Park is the place to go. Every 4th of July eve, this open, 10-acre space transforms into Kaboom Town!, where you can enjoy live entertainment, games, concessions, an Addison Airport show, and a dazzling 30-minute fireworks show. And the party doesn’t end there. There’s also a post-fireworks performance that lasts throughout the night.
Kaboom Town is free to attend, but the doors close once the park reaches capacity.

Firewheel Town Center – Garland Star-Spangled Spectacular

Take your family out to the Garland Star-Spangled Spectacular at Firewheel Town Center for a day of fun and a night of fireworks. You and your kids can enjoy face painting, balloon artists, bounce houses, games, and live entertainment. You can also search the mall for in-store events and summer sales. By nighttime, the event concludes with an incredible fireworks display.
The Garland Star-Spangled Spectacular is free to attend.

Breckinridge Park – Richardson Family 4th Celebration

Enjoy fireworks and fun in Breckinridge Park during the Richardson Family 4th Celebration. This annual patriotic event offers live entertainment, balloon artists, bounce houses, and a climbing wall for kids. The spectacular fireworks show begins at 9:45 pm, after the last performer finishes. Food and drinks are available for purchase; however, you should bring your own lawn chairs and blankets for comfort.
The Richardson Family 4th Celebration is free to attend.

Boys Ranch Park – 4thFEST

Party with the City of Bedford at Boys Ranch Park during 4thFEST. Not only does this free celebration feature an awesome fireworks show after dark, it also features a daytime food festival, car show, children’s comedy show, and live entertainment. You can even take a dip in the park’s Splash Aquatic Center, which offers three pools and several water slides, or you can enjoy the inflatable activity area, which includes an obstacle course and inflatable games.
4thFest is free to attend, however admission to the Splash Aquatic Center is $6.50 for adults, $5.50 for children under 18, and free for children under two.
There are many great places to watch 4th of July fireworks in Dallas. Choose one of these five for an Independence Day you won’t forget.
